Winds-Students wishing be in the Wind Ensemble or Symphony Orchestra should play at the faster tempo and to the optional highest notes or longer versions.

FLUTE – Selected Studies for Flute

-Track 1 Chromatic Scale: Low C to Bb3 [Opt. to C4] using slurred eighth notes ascending and descending. (Quarter note = 72)

Band Directors:  For students who ALSO wish to be considered for piccolo, or for English Horn – Register them twice, putting the lone piccolo or English Horn track on one registration, and all of the flute or oboe tracks on the other.  This is considered one registration, and the total audition fee is still $10.

OBOE – Rubank Advanced Method for Oboe Vol. 1
